Pastor William Watkins, Jr. is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Shekinah Glory Worship Ministry, Inc in Fort Washington, Maryland founded January 6, 2013. Pastor Watkins zealously answered the call to salvation in 1989, after experiencing numerous trials and tribulations during his younger years and escaping the streets with God’s grace and mercy. After receiving the call to salvation, he has served in numerous facets of ministry for over 30 years. Anointed with a Rhema & prophetic word from God for such a time as this, he teaches the Word of God with an unwavering boldness.
He has a strong apostolic call and fathers the sons and daughters of God by equipping and empowering them to live holy, prosperous lives with unshakeable faith. Pastor Watkins has been given a "Kingdom Assignment" and will not stop until the vision God has given him comes to pass. Pastor Watkins is a co-author that collaborated with seven anointed pastors’, for the Breaking to Brilliance Pastor’s Edition released in 2019. As a radical preacher, he is called to perfect the saints by imparting biblical truths, emphasizing deliverance and spiritual warfare, and activating the gifts of the Spirit to develop strong disciples and ministries in the body of Christ.
Pastor Watkins preaches with conviction and transparency from his life experiences to reach the masses. His motto is, “If Jesus delivered me, then surely He can deliver you”.
Pastor Watkins is joined in ministry by his lovely queen, Pastor Yolonda Watkins. They have four wonderful adult children and ten precious grandchildren.

Pastor Yolonda is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, anointed teacher, and preacher. The wife of Senior Pastor, William Watkins, Jr., she serves faithfully alongside him as Pastor of Shekinah Glory Worship Ministry, Inc. in Fort Washington, MD established in January 2013.
Pastor Yolonda affectionately called Pastor Y, has a tender-heart and sensitivity towards the needs of women which has given her a deep desire to influence them, help redirect their steps to healing, empower them to return to their rightful place as nurturers, mothers, and wives and powerful women of God. She is on an assignment as an intercessor and prayer warrior for the Kingdom of God to help break lifelong cycles that have delayed many from reaching their Godly potential for many years.
Pastor Y is stage-four breast cancer survivor, by the Grace of God. She is also an author of “The Breaking to Brilliance” a collaboration of 15 powerful stories of women triumphing and healing through the power of God.
Above all that God has allowed her to accomplish in career & ministry, she considers supporting and upholding her husband’s arms and supporting their four wonderful adult children her primary purpose and greatest accomplishment. Pastor Y has ten beautiful grandchildren that she adores, and they are the apple of her eye, and bring unspeakable joy to her life.
